Jo Coyne, Advanced Body Piercer
Hello! I’ve been piercing professionally since 2010, and was with Aftershock Tattoo Company since 2012. I enjoy so much about this job, the precision, the opportunity to learn something from each new piercing I do, and helping people overcome their anxieties to achieve their end results. I have attended the Association of Professional Piercers convention in Vegas twice, once in 2015 and again in 2018. I am always looking to evolve, while still maintaining my personal ethic to ensure that every piercing I perform is safe, and being an extremely gentle handed piercer that will guide you through the experience.
Kat Coyne, Body Piercer
Hi! I’ve been a piercing enthusiast since I got my first professionally done piercing in 2013. Since then, I’ve made it a goal to learn as much as I can, which has culminated into becoming a body piercer. I was hanging out at Aftershock Tattoo Company shadowing Jo since approximately 2014, working as her assistant, learning, and helping out at the front desk. I also attended the Association of Professional Piercers conference in 2018, and learned so much! I love the balance of instant gratification and patience that piercings require, and the self expression that can be achieved through different piercing placements and jewelry choices.
